PL4 Kaitiakitanga - Playcentre & the Regulations ONLINE SELF-DIRECTED

This online, self-directed unit opens on the 1st of the month and remains live for 6 weeks.

Prerequisite: You must have completed PL1 Wairuatanga before starting this module

In PL4 Kaitiakitanga - Playcentre & the Regulations you will unpack the ECE Regulations Framework and Playcentre Aotearoa policy and consider health and safety in a Playcentre context. You will explore the concept of 'kaitiakitanga' and governance and management at Playcentre. You will also explore ethical dilemmas, considering what to do when there isn't a black and white solution to a problem at Playcentre and where to go for further support.

To fully complete this module, you also need to complete 2 assessment tasks.
